The unsubstantiated negative smears by Suzie Price and her Corporate Special Interest Super PAC funded by Edison are a desperate attempt to distract you from what’s really at stake in this election. 

We have significant challenges to tackle, and Rex Richardson is the only candidate with a proven track record of delivering results on homelessness, community safety, and economic recovery.

The City Attorney reviewed Rex Richardson’s employment and confirmed that there was no conflict of interest.

Rex has followed all legal guidance as part of his service to the City of Long Beach as Vice Mayor.

The Long Beach City Council is a part-time governing body as designated by the City Charter. The majority of current city council members maintain full-time careers, including Vice Mayor Rex Richardson.

Long Beach deserves better than these misleading negative attacks.
